I am not new to racing but I am new to the racing circuit as a skipper. I was extremely excited when I found my boat because it was rigged for racing and there was not much for me to do other than get it ready for travel all it needed was a new name which was not hard to find if you know of my experience at the Catalina 22 Nationals last year (BUSHWACKER!). Now I have a boat that matches my personality, and I am ready to hit the circuit. I have learned over the years in helping my dad easy ways to rig the boat and have been coming up with my own ways to pack and travel with my boat. Everyone does things different, and it is nice to have a chance to try something new and learn what will or won’t work in this process. I am one of the youngest skippers on the circuit currently and am hoping to get as many new sailors/racers to join in as possible. If I can do it, so can you. Let’s get on the water!!
Speaking of getting on the water this is what we participated in over the weekend.

Calling all Cruisers! The Apostles are calling.
The Apostle Islands, located in Catalina 22 Region 7, is a group of 21 Islands off the coast of Bayfield, Wisconsin on Lake Superior. Why is it called the Caribbean of the north? Because of the crystal-clear waters and abundance of shorelines to explore. This year we are planning to have a cruise August 22 to 27 exploring the Islands.
Watch the video TRAILER.
Details for the trip are now available. Read the ITINERARY.
Registrations must be in by April 1 to secure your slips at the two marinas that are part of the cruise.
